Terms and Conditions

1. Disclaimer – I, Tieshka Smith, d/b/a as Truthseeker Astrology, am not a licensed medical, legal or financial professional. My readings do not replace professional medical, legal or financial consultation or advice. I cannot guarantee the outcome of my astrology and/or tarot readings. My predictions are a guide for future possibilities, and your free will always plays a role. You, the Client, agree that under no circumstances shall I be held liable for your actions, or for direct or indirect damages arising out of your interactions with Tieshka Smith d/b/a Truthseeker Astrology, by phone, via email, online or face to face. All astrology and/or tarot readings are for entertainment purposes only. 
2. Ethics and Confidentiality - I do not give medical advice or medical diagnoses. I will not predict death. I won’t continue to read for you if I feel that you are becoming dependent on my consults; I encourage you to make your own decisions, at all times. All astrology and tarot readings are strictly confidential. I will not share any information about your reading, personal data or other identifying details with other parties. 
3. Lateness (to all forms of in-person or virtual sessions) and no-shows - When you book a session with me, I’ve dedicated that block of time to you. If you’re late, the session will not be extended to take into account the time you missed by being late. I reserve the right to reschedule no-shows and to assess a re-booking charge. 
4. Refunds and Cancellations Policy – Things happen and you discover that you must cancel your scheduled appointment. We should both make a concerted effort to rebook the session, if possible. I am unable to grant refunds to clients who cancel less than 24 hours before their scheduled appointment, but I am willing to rebook the session for a future date and times, contingent upon my availability. If a cancellation is necessary and a decision not to rebook is made, it must be done at least 24 hours in advance; partial refunds (50%) will be made if this condition is met, as I have already invested significant time in reviewing charts in advance of your session. I reserve the right to reschedule no-shows and to assess a re-booking charge. 
5. Payment – Full payment for sessions/readings must be received before I book your consultation, and before I begin preparing for our session together. Once full payment is received, I will promptly forward, via email, a calendar appointment via Google, with the login credentials for your video or phone conference, which you will be asked to accept. 
6. Refusal of Service - I reserve the right to refuse service for any reason. I reserve the right to not read for anyone under the age of 18, unless parental consent is given. 
7. Content from sessions - With the exception of those conducted over the phone, all Truthseeker Astrology sessions are recorded. A complimentary audio recording (mp3) of your session will be made available to you. You’ll also receive jpg files of any and all charts that accompany the session, all of which are meant for you to study and review at your leisure after your session. All content will be uploaded to a secure file folder created in Google Drive within 5-7 business days of the completed session. When a session recording is not made, I reserve the right to provide a written recap of phone and/or face-to-face sessions. 
8. Acceptance of terms and conditions - Payment of your invoice constitutes acceptance of the above terms and conditions. They are governed by the laws of the City of Philadelphia, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and any and all related federal laws and regulations.
